We have been listening to music for the last month or so, trying to find something suitable for our final Van-Tastic doco, and so far have had no luck, so we're putting it out there for you guys to help us.
Here's my attempt to describe what we're looking for. Apologies in advance - I'm not particularly good at describing music in words.
Basically it's for a 4-5 minute documentary about everything we have done on our roadtrip so far. It will have no dialogue, and lots of montages of activities (surfing/skydiving/swimming with dolphins/etc). Something instrumental with no lyrics would be preferable, as I don't want people to be trying to listen to the words instead of concentrating on the visuals.
We would like a track that has a summery / roadtrip vibe to it, and occasional changes / rises (i.e. it "develops" / builds / gets a beat to it / adds other instruments). Preferably no lyrics, although if you have something that is summer/roadtrip/similar themed where the voice blends in rather than taking over, I'm happy to listen to it anyway as it may be usable.
Anything that reminds you of summer, a roadtrip, or freedom could be perfect!
If you watch our surf camp/skydiving mini-doco from the trip (the one in this post), something along the lines of the skydiving music (halfway through) would be great, if it was 4-5mins long and continued to 'develop.' Something more upbeat, or something completely different to that could also work. I'm just looking for something that speaks to me when I hear it.
