At 4:37pm I knew I have to try winning. 11 months ago I left home with a one way ticket. I had no plans nor goals. I was just about to explore the world. Now here I am. It’s almost one year ago since I took off and I didn’t regret it for one second. I am traveling with 8kg on my back and my Nikon D90 in my hand. Not the latest version I know, but always working great. Of course it is my passion to travel, but it would be only half as impressiv as it is if I wouldn’t be able to keep all these incredible memories on my camera. I know I could do lots better if you would show me all the important tricks I have to know to make my photos perfect and make me smile every time I watch them. I never tried to work as a photographer. I just love taking pictures of people which probably never have seen a camera before, to make them happy, to give something little back.
