I am Sebastian from Argentina. I have traveled and lived in many countries for the last two years. I am fascinated by observing and seeing the world in all its differences and similarities. Through photography I'm learning to see beyond the superficial appearance of things. Things move and change all the time, and with my camera I get to capture the VERY MOMENT that would be lost if I had never pressed the button. What fascinates me is that this captured instant remains and can be contemplated forever. During my travels, I gained a great respect for the people I was photographing. Some pictures show “raw truth”. They really reveal who they are. Beauty for me is this authenticity they show. I feel it’s not necessary to hide anything because people and things are absolutely extraordinary the way they are. Why should I be chosen? I yearn to learn and take as many photos as I can and to develop myself to the fullest. This is a new discovery for me and what I have learned about myself and from the people and their surroundings is fascinating. Photography is just the excuse, the key, to get to know people, their stories and ideas, who they really are, and to share my view with the world.

“Who is wise? He who learns from all people”
I've been traveling for the last two years, making the world my university. The only plan: no plans. People, experiences, new cultures, new perspectives. I realized that the only constant is change. People with awareness of this reality are able to see beauty everywhere, and be grateful for every moment. See things as they are. Travelling allows me to get out of my comfortable place, and get into the unfamiliar.
I want to share stories from this unique people I find on my way and be able to challenge people’s perspectives of their own values and ideas.
I studied cinema and I have experience editing and filming. This video was made entirely by me.
This scholarship is exactly what I am looking for. Would be the perfect platform to develop myself on what I love the most and to be able to share the beauty and possibilities of life as I see it and as I live it.
My ambition is to develop myself as much as I can as a filmmaker and as a presenter. I love to interact with people, learn new things, and have new adventures. Movement is what keeps me alive. Change.
This scholarship will mean a big step in my path, become what I am :)
