A little background

I was accepted to Goldsmiths College, University of London where I will be working toward an MA in international relations through September 2008. I'm still in Tucson working at the U of A, but my last day here is Sept 14. I hope to be flying out the following Friday.

I've traveled quite a bit, and it's always exciting but I never like to leave home. Arizona will always be home, but these new experiences are important for me, and really everyone around me. All our travels make the world a littler smaller, and with me 'over there' it'll force my friends and family to get on some planes.

Last time I landed at Heathrow, I was detained and sent home because I didn't have the proper visa to enter the country. Well, this time no such mistake will be made. The College has also been really informative about what I need. Not so long ago, Americans didn't need a student visa to study in the UK. So it wasn't complete stupidity, I just didn't know they had changed the rules!
