Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am 40+ and an avid photographer. I am also an artist, sculptor and craftsman. I've moved from Canada to Australia to raise two beautiful girls...
I am no more special than the next person. All I can really offer is: my eye for the shot and my intelligence. I love my photography and do it whenever I can. I don't think my photos are better than anyone else's, nor do I strive to make them so. I just love to capture moments of time from a perspective that no one but myself can; at that time; at that place.
I think to be in a place when I can learn from professionals and hone my craft would be an exceptional gift. All I could offer is my undivided attention and devotion to putting that gift to good use. So maybe one day, my photos could make the world a better place and allow others to visit places they couldn't and see things they could never imagine to exist. ...as good photography should.
