The Mysterious Son Doong Cave in Vietnam

Son Doong Cave which is Mountain River cave in Vietnamese is a cave located in Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park, Bố Trạch District, Quảng Bình Province, Vietnam. As per 2009, this is the biggest known cave in the world and is located near the border of Laos and Vietnam. The cave is formed in Permian limestone and Carboniferous. There is a fast flowing underground river inside the cave. The cave is known to be five times larger than the cave of Phong Nha cave which was previously considered to be the biggest cave in Vietnam.

The biggest chamber of Son Doong is nearly five kilometres long with height of 200 metres and width of 150 metres. This cave is known to contain some of the tallest known stalagmites in the whole world and are up to nearly 70 m tall. In the early August 2013, the first tourist group explored the cave on a special guided tour at the cost of US$3,000 each. The good news is that future exploration are being planned for visiting this exclusive cave.

The name The heart River really do confuse one and all. It offers a picture of an ideal landscape which is heart- shaped with islands and a river. There is heart shaped island along with the flow of river. The river in question is The Heart River which is said to be a tributary of the Missouri River which is approximately 180 mi located in western North Dakota in the United States.

Many are confused with the name but if viewed from a height then this river along with the island presents the perfect heart shape hence the name of the river. If one wish to view the river then the ideal option is a helicopter ride high above in the sky which will offer a panoramic view of The Heart River. This river is surely a must visit view for one and all.

The Picturesque Bodiam Castle of the 14th century

Located near Robertsbridge in East Sussex, England, Bodiam Castle is a beautiful 14th century castle. This castle is said to have been built in the year 1385 by Sir Edward Dalyngrigge who is known to be a former knight of Edward III. The landscape around the castle is simply splendid and the castle was so built to emphasise a castle. The castle is a moated castle and the moat is supplied from several springs most of it from within the castle.

The exterior of the castle has though survived the interior remains in ruins. The whole landscape around the castle provides an aesthetic feel and is a reputed work of history. The architecture of the castle is significantly like that of other castle of the 14th century. The castle still bears a forbidding image and will surely create a sense of awe of the people looking at it with inquisitive eyes.
