My aspiration in life is to travel as a documentarian. I am drawn to projects that allow me to share stories from around the globe. If I were accepted for this scholarship, I would be fulfilling my goal of documenting a country in South America, which is a continent I have yet to explore. I would be a benefit to the project because I tell stories about others without needing to have myself or an "outsider" on screen. The people in the community are the voice and face of the film.
