I graduated from Graphic Design at the start of 2013 and have been hooked on photography ever since I can remember. I drove to BC at the start of the year with 500 dollars in my pocket, my car, and my camera. I have never had a more eye opening experience. I became a photographer on Whistler mountain and learned some amazing skills, and took photos for myself that changed my whole photographic skill set. I feel like I am the best suit for this opportunity simply because I would be so grateful, and would take every moment, every lesson, and everything I learn with me forever. I am diligent, kind, and an extremely hard worker with a hunger for amazing photos and showing people that I am more than just a 20 something man taking selfies all day. I strive to better myself each day, in my profession and in the real world. National Geographic has been my favorite photographic magazine ever since I read the issue on the Mars Rover. No other magazine shows the purity, the depth of the real world through a photograph like National Geographic photographers, and it has always been my dream to be a part of it.
