Laugh Live Learn

My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

India | Saturday, October 16, 2010 | 4 photos

I especially like to take photos from far flung places, like this in Kashmir. For people who can't travel, it can open their minds and hearts to what words can't begin to express.

But what I really wish is to inspire people to travel through my photos. To breathe and embrace life! Travel bridges the gap between cultures. It broadens our understanding of each other. Thus, we begin to be more united from people of different countries to people sharing one home – Earth. Showing the beauty of the world through photographs can move countries to work together on many issues, especially global warming.

Since the media tends to show only the negative side of a place; I purposely capture the beauty, warmth, sacredness, or joy of a place.

National Geographic is my holy grail. I am passionate, down to earth, adventurous, used to rough it out, energetic & a team player. To work with Jason will be an honor and dream come true! I will absorb every lesson he will teach to give justice to Bhutan. It will enable me to show others that people on this side of the earth do laugh, live, and learn. Just as they do.
