Photos: Passport & Plate - Baked pollock with mush potato

Ingredients
Pollock - 1 kg
Carrots - 2 Pieces
Onions - 3 pieces
Sour cream - 450 gm
Salt, pepper, seasoning, parsley - to taste
Potatoes - 1 kg
Butter - 100 gm

How to prepare this recipe
Finely chop the carrots and onions. In a frying pan warm up the oil. First, fry the onion for about 2 minutes, then add the carrots.
Pollock cut into pieces, add to the vegetables, stir. Cover with a lid and simmer for about 5-7 minutes.
Then add the sour cream, salt, pepper, seasoning to taste, mix well. Again cover with a lid and continue to simmer for 15 minutes. Because carrots pollock in cream becomes golden hue.
Boil the potatoes, add butter, a little milk and make mashed potatoes.
Bon appetit!

The story behind this recipe
When I was at university we lived in a student hostel. I lived in the same room with a guy named Yuri who was studying in the final year. Many evenings we spent in the kitchen preparing dinner and talking about everything. And one evening he made ??a dish which he was shown in the same hostel a few years earlier. it is very simple and very pleasant to me, so we started to cook it often enough. When Juri graduated I have a new neighbor. And one day I cooked this dish. He liked it too! And so this recipe handed down from generation to generation! And I still love this dish and it is always associated to the hostel.
