Reality kicks in

So a bulletin comes through at work saying there is going to be a charity event organised to raise money for teenage cancer trust and SCAT bone cancer trust and all you have to do is enter a team and raise £500 to take part..... Happy days!!!!!! So I rope in 4 other people, Marie (little miss glam), Danny-stories of war-Robertson, Stu Pot (no one knows why he is called this) and Craig-one punch-Allen...... So we're set, we have our team, ideas to raise £500 and no idea what it will take to trek 20 miles, bike 10 miles and canoe 6 miles. BRILLIANT!!!

Days go by and we hear nothing about our entry then just as we have given up hope and down a few cookies and cream cakes followed by lots of a certain energy drink we receive an email saying that WE ARE IN!!!!!

OH MY GIDDY AUNT........... We have 60 days to train and not only raise £500 but £500 EACH so that we have a grand minimum of £2500 by 3rd June, it's been a long time since I wet the bed but this brought me close ha ha ha

So hear we are getting fit, eating what can only be described as rabbit food and raising money for 2 great charities all in time for our LAKES CHALLENGE!!!!
