My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am a 22year old ambitious, mildly rambunctious female concentrating on excelling in the field of photojournalism.
In 2011, I experienced a solo six-months in India. This adventure confirmed my mental and physical abilities to fulfil a career documenting communities and cultural emotion.
Recent trips through Sri Lanka, Japan and New Zealand have given me necessary confidence acting in these environments, with opportunities to chase storms and sleepover in slums.
I believe this opportunity is suitably timed and perfect for my overwhelming desire to convert to professional photojournalism. While my individual motivation is obvious, I am in need of on-site guidance and I believe Jason Edwards can offer me this.
Therefore I am seeking to accompany him, to shoot 'verbs, not nouns' in a country like Oman and to learn techniques and advice never taught in the classroom.
I believe I have the all the obvious qualities for this trip, but most importantly I am comfortable, fit and technically advanced enough to perform a reputable job of this assignment. As it is a long-term career focus for me, I would take greater interest in the brief and be to most appreciative of my time spent.
