This perfectly describes who I am right now. Already in my quarter-life status, I've realized the importance of time, opportunities, and decisions; specially the life changing ones. It's safe to say that sending this entry, is one of the life changing decision that I am making, one opportunity that comes in perfect time. I'm Jan Michael Marasigan from the Philippines, called as Mike by my friends and peers. My fascination in photography started when I was in a band, performing for a church ministry. It took me to places I've only read in books before, and for free! Unfortunately, I only use borrowed cameras that time, if I am lucky to borrow one. Though I lack tools, I kept on shooting, and shooting. Not knowing the technical details of how to shoot did not hindered me to shoot. Now, I have my own camera; a Canon 550d. It might gave me new knowledge and techniques, but learning doesn't and shouldn't stop there. I feel and I know there are still a lot of things to learn, and I'm more than excited to jump into opportunities that would help me to improve what I have, which will make my family, friends, and country proud.
