Andaman

The Andamans are a chain of 184 odd islands in the Andaman sea at approx 1100 Kms to the south of eastern Indian city of Kolkata. There was a time when ancient tribes lived here. Today some tribes have receded into the deep forest while others have been resettled in Port Blair. When India was under the rule of British East India Company, the freedom fighters were confined in Cellular Jail to restrict their activity as they can’t cross thousands miles water to save their life. After independence especially south Indians and Bengalis were rehabilitated there. Now it is well connected to the main land by regular air and ships.

I am a young, hardworking and serious professional photographer. Last 12 years I have been working for International News Agencies and I also worked in several successful projects and as a result I got prestigious World Press Photo Golden Eye award, National Geographic award, 2 times National media fellowships and others.
