My passion is photography, documentary and telling peoples' stories. I am adventurous by nature and keen to explore the far corners of this planet in the search for an image or images that might help bring social and environmental messages to a broader audience that change behaviour and bring people together in pursuit of a better world. I am probably best described as a pro-amatuer. Having started at 16 taking photos with a Pentax ME Super I did not decide to take my photography seriously until the tender age of 46 after a solo six week tour of India and since then have broadened my skills to include videography and most recently undertook to produce a 24 minute documentary for the Uganda Wildlife Authority about Mount Elgon National Park as a volunteer for the International Union for Conservation of Nature and this is the source of my photographic essay.
