My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Since I was a child I dreamt of stopping life for a moment. Capturing the beautiful seconds of life that were passing by so rapidly. I felt that if a moment was captured it would be more real.

Every time I see something interesting, inspiring or unusual my mind transmits the image to my brain as if I was looking at it through a camera lens. It is a beautiful feeling which reminds me that photography is my passion.

Photography is art but for me its also I way of looking at life. I want to tell the world a story. I want to communicate to the world how diverse, breathtaking, and precious it is. I want to show people that there is more out there than their sometimes troubled lives. There is beauty that people need to be reminded of and there are problems that people need to be reminded of so that they can be fixed.

I believe I should be chosen because I want to learn the language of photography. I want to speak to the world and make it reflect, cry and smile through my images.
