My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Hi there,

I usually dislike describing myself, however this time I'll make an exception. ;) I am that kind of person who prefers not to express himself directly as the outcome could be unfavorable; therefore as much as possible, whenever given the opportunity I try to control things from backstage. With photography in my life, my imagination and my perspective has no limits. I enjoy taking photos in uncontrolled conditions, mostly outdoors which can have an impact on all subjects (I refer to those special moments which cannot be directed and once the 'right' caption is made, the mere reenactment of it would only harm prospective shots. I am strong believer in taking the photo at the right time and the right place with no interference from the technology side. Whether I win or lose this competition, for me, photography will play an important part in my life since the outcome of it (the final shot) is a gateway to someone's past, present or future.
