I've so far been to 29 countries, but I need that number to go way up! For the 15th anniversary of my international travels, I decided to something big. I set out to do a bucket list trip to a prime destination that I've always wanted to go to. And I wanted to do it alone. I have never traveled internationally by myself before, and I wanted to check that of my list. I waffled between a few different countries before settling on Iceland. The trip was life altering, to say the least. I grew a lot, I learned a lot. I did everything I wanted, and nothing I didn't. It was amazing. I also got some killer photographs, because unlike most travels, I didn't have the pressure of anyone else rushing me along. I was able to set up some slow-shutter shots for the myriad of waterfalls. I was able to work with a ND filter for the first time. I was in high heaven.
