Photos: My Scholarship entry - Pottery class

Could person love almost everything? World, life, people, bugs, Sun, words, roads, water, wind, sounds, skin… ? Well, I do. I also love to travel. I enjoy nature as much as being in the city. So I read tons of magazines and books and searched for new photos that I haven’t seen yet. That’s how photography crept under my skin. If the photo is good, I could almost smell and feel the real scene like I was really there, or sense the emotion that someone is feeling. The photography is so powerful. We can share so many things, make someone happy, say so many things without saying one single word. I love that.
I always wanted to learn something new. It’s like some kind of urge that is leading me to explore different things, learn new skills, pushing me always forward. Last six years I’ve been taking pictures. Like some kind of diary more powerful than words. I like to be there on that perfect moment and to take a shot, but if you look from another angle every moment is the right one for something, isn’t it?
We should always keep that child in us who always wants to play and explore and learn and doesn’t know for the fear. And never let him go.
I’m still learning. I just scratch the surface of photography and there is so much more to learn. This is a once in a life time chance that you are giving us and thank you for that. To be able to go on a field with a great master and learn how to capture the best shot you can is a privilege. You can help me reach the next skill level and be my great mentor. You would be my pathfinder to the world of professional photography and I’ll be your best assistant ever.

My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I always imagine different places on Earth. What do they look like, how would it felt to go there, to meet local people, listen to their stories, feel like local for a while, to be a part of something new and beautiful and have the ability to show it to others. There is nothing that makes me feel more alive than doing that.
I love to take pictures wherever I go and show them to others who don’t have the opportunities to go there. I feel like big explorer then, when I can make the good story and talk about the things that I discovered and learned.
I would love to get this opportunity to work with you because I know that I could gain a lot. I don’t know what kind of preparation you have to do before you go to a different country to photograph something for work. I would like to learn how to approach to that assignment and be prepared for everything. It would be great to be a part of a big and wonderful team. You can help me and I can help you to see the world through my eyes.
Thank you for making the world a better place. If you don’t choose me know, I’ll be back the next year!
Sincerely,
Snezana Vukmirovic
