I've been working progressively harder towards improving my photography since moving from the US to China in 2008. Upgrades in cameras and more focus on the technical skills have shown a lot of progress over those years, until recently I've decided to give it a go at working in travel photography. This seems, of course, like an intimidatingly difficult field to break into. I think winning the World Nomads/ Nat Geo competition could be the first step on a potential career continuing to travel the globe as I use my camera to interpret the world I see and share it with everyone that will listen.
