Harabeoji and Halmeoni in Boon https://journals.worldnomads.com/skyladyluck/ Tue, 7 Apr 2026 22:17:11 GMT World Nomads Adventures If I had a dollar for every time I get asked why I travel alone,I would have enough funds for onward travel.Of course it doesn’t work that way.Instead,I perpetuate what could have been only a fleeting connection and turn it into a life-altering situation.I am living proof that one doesn’t need a hefty bank account to enjoy traveling.I seize travel's coattails if I cannot jump into its epicenter.Beyond noticing the surface-visions of generosity,vulnerability,wrath,industry land straight into my pupils and evoke feelings in me that make me want it to be my obligation to share these moments. I owe it to the people who opened their homes to me unconditionally along with every other kindness thrown my way by the world. I owe it to the townsfolk of my birthplace who are skeptical of my itinerant ways. Knowing my obligation is but a start as I am fully aware that I am not well versed in the technicalities of capturing an image.This scholarship would lead me to finally become a ‘Warrior of Light’ not just in thoughts but also in deeds as I have long been praying for my travels to not be futile.
