A Day on Fox Glacier

I have been fortunate enough to be able to travel the world. During my travels my camera is always close to hand to document my adventures and everything I see.
On coming home and sharing my images with people who may not have the means to travel. The reactions invoked are just priceless and and it still amazes me that I can bring so much joy to people from something I produce is so worthwhile.

Photography, travel, meeting people and experiencing new things is my passion, I would love to be able to one day make my passion my profession. Spending time with Jason on assignment would be an invaluable experience in my journey.
Photos: My Scholarship entry - A glimpse into the daily life on the streets of Istanbul.

I am and have always been under the impression that travel broadens the mind. No matter who you are or where you go you always have pre conceived notions of what the place you're going to visit will be like. This is what I love about travelling, you never know what you're going to experience, you never know whats around the next corner.

Photography fits so well with travelling and allows me to pass my story and experiences onto other people who may not have the ability to travel. I want to show people the world as I see it and not the stereotypical postcard views. My aim is to try and capture the atmosphere, the story and the mood of a place.

I am by no means a professional photographer, but I have a passion that is second to none. I always strive on improving myself and firmly believe that photography and life is all about constantly learning. Having an opportunity like this to shadow a professional in a professional environment would truly be a dream come true. Not to mention what valuable lessons I could learn to help me achieve my ultimate goal.

The images I have taken were taken whilst walking the streets of Istanbul. It's an encapsulating city, with so much to offer.
