I am a passionate, self-taught photographer. I believe creativity and spirituality are things in life that one must teach themselves.
The Kingdom of Cambodia portfolio demonstrates my capability to proficiently use a camera; an ability that I wish to continue building upon with advice from a mentor on a travel photography scholarship. Bhutan is a place that I have always wanted to go but unable to fund at $250 per day for a visa at this point in my life. I am so eager to not only learn from, but also collaborate ideas with a professional! I believe the collection of photographs from Cambodia clearly shows the grace and beauty of inner peace found through the Buddhist religion; and the simple, everyday life that occurs in Cambodia.
I have aspirations to become one of the worlds best travel photographers. I would greatly appreciate all the help on offer. I am passionate about travel photography and photojournalism as it is a chance to promote the best thing that I think a person can do in their life – learn! I believe that travel builds intellect and wisdom within people’s minds and is a vital undertaking for everyone (especially world leaders and intellects) to do to move the world towards peace. I hope to broadcast to the Western World the reality of life in places like Cambodia where lives are lost almost every day to disease, hunger and wars and to also show the beauty of these places to encourage travel and boost tourism to help their economies. I am going to be a great travel photographer, as I want to not only help people in the world through my work, but also feel the love of the world and its people through a lens.
