In one of the coldest Siberian days in January me and my fiancée were ready to leave all our problems in Russia and fly to sunny United Arabian Emirates. Our plane took off and brought us to mysterious Arabian country…
I’m not going to describe my first underwater adventure, when you can become a part of beautiful Indian ocean and feel infinite freedom, or try to shock you with story about skyscrapers in the center of desert. I just want to tell you how I tried to take a look on the World through others eyes.
It was early morning and me and my future wife decided to drink a cup of tradition Arabian coffee with cardamom and to find something interesting to do. In the lobby of our hotel I found a card with information about exciting safari tour. We didn’t doubt even a second and booked a tour for evening.
When the sun just started to go down, a driver picked up us and we started our travel . First of all, we did amazing dune-bashing! It was extremely exciting! On the huge speed our truck started to jump on dunes of sand, as a kangaroo. We were laughing and crying the same time! I don’t remember the time I was so scared and so happy the same time.
After 20 minutes we came to Arabian camp. We changed our clothes to national dresses of UAE (white for men and black for women) and walked in camp. I remember which feelings were dominated in my mind… Calmness, wisdom and freedom. Time stopped for us. I saw a camel and came closer to him. I know that a lot of people use pronoun “it” for animals, but try to understand me, for Arabians camel is “father”, because when people were passing a desert for many weeks without a water only camel could save their life. I was looking at him for couple minutes trying to understand him. And I did… I felt he was thinking the same about me, about my life. In the evening we were watching belly dancers, eating Arabian food, making picturesque photos, but I will never forget about kind camel’s eyes which open for me an Arabian fairy-tale…
