Arriving at JFK

It was quiet a while before the plane officially landed and we could get off, but I was ready with my bags to be the first one off the plane. So when they said we could get off the plane I was ready to go. I was one of the first few people to get off the plane but unfortunately I didn’t get the green card to enter the country so I had to get one of those and fill it out while two other planes landed so I had to wait in a line for a couple of hours before getting my bags. Once I had found my bags I went through customs and was finally able to meet Terrie and Margaret.

After we got the bags in the car, Morgan out to go to the bathroom and then we set off for Westfield. While in the car I slept for most of the time.

Arriving at Seoul

I arrived at Seoul and easily found the place that I had to transfer at, and got through the security easily. Once through the guards I took the escalator to the second floor. That’s when I had to find my gate for my flight to JFK (the airport at New York City) I walked past many different shops following my map. On the way to the gate I passed an internet café and checked it out. Then I continued following my map until I found exactly where I had to go. Checking the time I had an hour to spear before I had to board my plane. So I walked back to the internet café and bought a $3 card. After the difficulty of entering the pin…I needed help from the lady at the counter. I spent the next 45 minutes or so at the internet café just browsing. Then I walked back to the gate. Standing for awhile at the time that I thought I was meant to start boarding…until a security guard told me otherwise. The flight had been delayed for about half an hour. Looking over I saw a guy with KFC. So I went to the map found where KFC was. Finally I reached KFC and ordered and meal. It’s really cool the receipt is in Korean it’s really cool. So I had time to eat that as I was lining up to get on the plane. I gave them my passport and got through security again fine. While in the lane I met some really nice people who were from the states and on their way to California. So once I was through the security I took my place on the plane and was right to go.

Leaving the airport//the plane trip.

I left Mum and Dad at the airport December 15^th. I got through security with just enough time to spare before I had to bored my flight. I had an excellent flight from Brisbane to Seoul. I ended up sitting next to a really nice guy who helped me put my bag in the compartment.

I tried something that I think was chicken and it wasn’t that bad. I then read for a while, before sleeping. I slept for a couple of hours and when I woke up I got to watch “Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift”. The trip was 9hours and went pretty quickly.
