Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I was born in the South American continent, but I reject a national identity as I feel nationalities make the world a more violent place.

I've traveled, I've worked, and I continue to work, but not travel as much anymore since my job involves sitting behind a computer most of the time. I like computers, but I love photography. It helps me look inside. It keeps me sane. I photograph, and edit, almost every day.

I want to make a living as a photographer while keeping true to myself. I don't want to do it only for the money or for the client. I want to do it for myself, and through this, for the world.

I might be chosen because my pictures from Oman would have a strong effect on the people who see them, and not be what one normally expects to see in National Geographic.
