Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I want to see the world for myself. To wander away some of its far and remote paths, and to wonder, repeatedly, at how much we all differ, yet how much more we all have in common. In the experience of other cultures there is a lot be learned, but there is also teaching along the way. No one solely thing goes only one way.
Photography wise, I do pretend to surprise as much as being surprise myself too, for only human curiosity has reach us this far in evolution, for good or worse. I do have a sense that my photography does already have some edge, here and there, but I also do acknowledge that it will be difficult to take that step forward without some extra help.
Oh, almost forgot, you’d like to know about myself: my name is Alejandro, 37 so far, raised in Madrid, parents from South America (Argentina and Paraguay). I have been fortunate enough to travel my bit so far, after leaving Spain at 21 to settle in Edinburgh. There, I studied analogue photography (luckily!), where my main interest were photojournalism, street photography and alternative process. I have never got off the habit of taking pictures, although I never made it professional yet. Now, I feel prepared for the leap!

Photos: Streectly Jodhpur

Cities in India are bustling places to find yourself at. This is specially true in the city of Jodhpur, in the Rajasthan province. There, the narrower their streets, the busier they present themselves. Like the smallest veins of a giant organism, intricate paths full of live appear to come from everywhere, and going also everywhere else. Please enjoy a photographic walk on some of them…

(do note: all photographs are full-frame analogue B+W pictures)
