Life behind shutters and mirrors https://journals.worldnomads.com/seanynnah/ Sun, 12 Apr 2026 05:31:37 GMT World Nomads Adventures First, let me tell you a story.It all started when I had a subject that introduced me to it 2 years ago and I fell in love with it, but I didn't have a camera back then yet so I had to borrow one from a rental place or a family member. I had to wait 2 years for my own. While I was waiting for it and looking for a member in my family to pitch in for the remaining money I needed, I stumbled upon a set of pictures I once took with my first camera, it was made out of a plastic casing and plastic lens and then I realized, photography was actually just there for me, it was just there and I didn't notice it. The signs were there, I didn't like being in front of a camera, my grandma gave me a vintage cam, every time I hold one I just clicked and clicked away without any regards to the film. Now I have my own, and it has given me great happiness, and has given me more drive and passion, which I thought I lost back then when I still didn't have my own, anyways, those little reminders of my childhood gave me hope and made me stronger, that's why I believe you should choose me, because I have more drive and passion than anybody in this contest.
