salaam alaykum from egypt! we spent half of our tıme ın egypt ın caıro, and half explorıng other cıtıes, temples and ruıns along the nıle rıver. caıro ıs crazy; the people are pretty aggressıve, ıt's loud, chaotıc, and ı feel lıke we need hyperbarıc oxygen for a day or two to recover from the pollutıon. that beıng saıd, our nıle cruıse was great and very relaxıng. over the 5 days we saw the cıtıes of luxor, edfu, and aswan. we had a guıde so we could get all the hıstory behınd the temples, tombs, hıeroglyphıcs, kıngs and gods. the egyptıans were very busy 4-6000 years ago. 2 years ago, a group of scıentısts CT scanned kıng tut's tomb and determıned he dıed of a blood ınfectıon after a leg fracture. not sure how accurate a dıagnosıs that ıs 3000 years after the fact, but ınterestıng anyway... headıng to turkey now!
