Photos: Tourism and Life in Goa, India

My name is Sasha and I am a Photography student at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. I have always found the need to place moments and people into frames, before I owned a camera these frames were created by my thumb and forefinger. Photography and social justice are my two passions in life. My aim is to tailor a career and a life that incorporates a harmonious marriage of the two, presented in a visually beautiful and an emotionally and intellectually stimulating manner.

I gravitate towards photographing people and trying to communicate meaning involving social issues, combining methods of artistic, creative and documentary photography. I have a lot to learn in life and in photography, and that is why I am here, to gain knowledge in the most respectful way, to enable me to then pass on this knowledge to my community. I wish to create an inclusive place in the world of photography, to exist in myself, and to open up to others.
