A 'place' I have visited

I have a passion for photography, art, graphic design, web design and nature, and am currently halfway through my second year of a Bachelor of Multimedia Design at the University of Queensland in Australia.
I was born and spent the first two years of my life in Japan, after which my parents moved to Australia, where I grew up exploring the bush, beach and creek around our home near Bundaberg. I took the photos I entered during my first trip back to Japan earlier this year.
I have always loved taking photos and editing them. I nearly always carry my camera with me so that if I see something that stands out or looks particularly beautiful, unique or strange, I can capture it.
I love travelling and seeing new places and meeting new people, and I have so much to learn about photography. Hence the trip to Greenland will be an incredible experience if I am lucky enough to be chosen.
Though my degree is very similar to an IT degree and involves programming, designing websites, graphic design and human-computer interaction, I don’t know where my future will lead me yet. However I would love to pursue a photography or design-related career, and would certainly one that involves travel.
