A 'place' I have visited

Hello, I am Sajitha from Ahmedabad, India. While growing up, it was mere an interest, but taking photos have now become an enriching experience in itself for me. I am working with a government agency and am involved in developing communication tools for the rural coastal villagers of Gujarat, India. Apart from this, passionately does photography whenever I get some time to myself. Whether, it’s the daily bus travel to office, or the planned visit to see relatives, I always look for an opportunity to take out camera and click some memories to cherish later on.
More than with the camera, I take pictures in my mind, where there is no dearth of time neither the hesitation to click. I am an illiterate when it comes to the techniques of photography, but wishes to take pictures and learn in the process.

People are my favourite subjects, be it strangers or dear ones. I consider that there are hundreds of untapped emotions in the eyes of a person looking into or away from the camera. With the similar feeling, if I am chosen, I wish to explore nature, to see its beauty and experience its mightiness.
Photos: Visit to meet Sr. Felix

Sr. Felix Victoria, an octogenarian nun is my grandmothers’ younger sister. She lives with her fellow sisters in Kamptee a small town of Maharashtra. Since the age of 14, she has kept aside her better part of life for the service of church. She began the journey from a small village of Vypeen Island in Kerala and has travelled to many well known as well as nondescript places of India.
At this phase of her life, a visit of her favourite niece, Alice was a splendid occasion for her. She has been waiting, from the time Alice called and gave an inkling of the visit. Since then, Sr. Felix has been anxiously waiting.
Her usual jolly nature had come back.
Though, she cannot hear, Sr. Felix made it a point to write down the stories, experiences and gossips of the convent, she wanted to share with Alice. And then it was time for Alice to go back to her city.
Again and again, Sr. Felix read the conversation and lived the moments once again.
Another dawn and Sr. Felix got busy with her daily routine. Though her mind was wandering in the conversation she had with Alice.
