My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

After watching my little sister playing at the beach, I was upset to see the amount of rubbish there was there. This series both documents and comments on the pollution of New Zealand beaches. NZ promotes itself as "clean and green" but my first hand experience suggests otherwise. The documentation of the beach with children playing soon developed into a sinister series; where pollution takes over. The irony is that we may end up being buried in our own filth, that is why pollution takes a monstrous human form in my final shots.
