I am originally from Northern Ireland, County Down and have lived here all my life. Since i left school in 2007 i have studied Art and Design in collage but it wasn't until I started my GCSE in photography that i became interested. i then learned that i could apply for a National Diploma in photography which i then pursed and since then i have loved studying everything about the practice. although most of my projects have contactual meanings, I still like to photograph everything but focusing mostly on landscapes and documentary styles. Now that i have reached my final year in university i am looking forward to leaving my course and creating a lengthy career from photography but i am still not sure in which direction to go. i am applying to this scholarship because i feel it is exactly what I'm am looking to do with my life. i have always enjoyed traveling to visit new lands and documenting with my camera.
