My Father's Travels

My name is Rosemary and I'm a recent media arts graduate. To me, adventure is a central part of life. Telling people's stories is a lifelong passion of mine. I still remember when I, at the age of four, realised that I wanted to be a storyteller like my grandfather, and a traveller like my Dad. As I got older I discovered that there are countless ways to capture and share the world around us. I discovered the joys of filmmaking. I believe I am perfect for this scholarship because I would make the most of every single second of the journey - which is, after all, what documentaries remind us to do. This opportunity would be a dream come true for me; a new exciting step in the trail. I would soak up every detail of the trip and pour it all into the assignment, to capture the rich energy of travel and human connection, making the audience feel like they're a part of it too.
