Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Hello my name is Rolando Garrido. I started photography after I lost my house to a fire Thanksgiving day. I lost everything I owned and I moved into my uncles house until my house was rebuilt. I bought my first SLR camera and I took a vacation to mexico with my family. I took pictures everywhere I went and when I got back home all of my friends were surprised to see how great the pictures came out. Since then I've been taking pictures everywhere I go. I like going camping and waiting for that perfect moment to snap a picture. I think I should be chosen because I love to work as a team and get creative ideas. I'm all about learning something new and if I was chosen I would cherish the moments with my team. I've always wanted to do photography and I feel like I got a second chance in life by making it out alive from the fire, so if I was chosen I would give 110% in all activities and I would not let you down.
