Photos: My Scholarship entry - What? There are no Kangaroos in Austria?

I am Rod, a freelance consultant doing international development work. I run (a lot; 10 full marathons, 2 trail ultra marathons so far), I eat (a lot) and travels whenever I can to run and eat. As a kid, I cannot even draw a straight line and was not considered artistic. Digital photography has given me a medium to make up for whatever I lack in terms of "drawing." I use my flair for writing to complement the images I take. I have little knowledge and skill of post-processing so I rely on my perspective so deliver quality images. My go to photography techniques are composition, framing, and long exposures.
My recent trip to Europe (yes running-related) has exposed me to the beauty of old world and has tested my mettle as a traveler and a photographer.
