      <title>Chillihuani - quechua community at 4000m a.s.l</title>
<description>I am a Sicilian “Out There” photographer and filmmaker . I have been based in Italy, Cyprus and London working as a freelance photographer, commercial and photography teacher. I am specialized in travel, sport, story telling photography conveying powerful pictures embedded with my passion and commitment to the subject. I like to consider myself an “out there” nomad photographer, expert in outdoor activities (hiking, climbing, mountaineering, trekking) with the particular talent of adapting to any situation and environment creating strong connections with the subjects of my photography .
here a quick video about me :P

      <title>Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited</title>
<description>I am a relentless and active person.I was born in Sicily 23 years ago and I currently i live in UK. I love climbing, adventures and photography. i am used to endure exhausting expedition, and overwhelming loads of work.
I studied photography, i worked as a photographer and I am currently studying a MA in photojournalism in the University of Arts, college of communication in London .

During my last solo expedition in Corsica, i risked, due to unforeseen conditions , not to come back. when i got to the refuge and i was safe i wrote down a list of stuff i wanted to do before dying . one of the main point of this list was "i want to work for national Geographic" ...
than this opportunity with the contest came unexpected.. learning from the best , having the opportunity to work along with national geographic's photographers ..

Photography has became my role in society . i feel like it is my way to operate in this world. It may make the different or just provoke emotion, i just want to feel the feeling of sharing what i am witnessing and what i am experiencing .
