Although I remind myself many times not to sound cliche while drafting this, I cannot help but to say that if I was chosen, it would be a dream come true (and the day pigs fly, at least in my own mind!). I have always been a wishful soul. I have always wished for a job (or a chance) that would require me to travel the world. Last year, around this time, I discovered the World Nomads scholarships. Due to work commitments, I failed to take the first step (by at least trying) in materializing my wish. I missed the scholarship application and this year I am making it a point to make up for the missed chance. Being wishful normally leads to the end of a road. However, if being wishful is coupled with a fierce drive, which I believe is a quality I possess, the impossible may be made possible. I have so much more to say to try to convince you why I should be chosen.
