Photos: Holy land, holy faces.

I got into photography while studying design. Initially I stuck to taking pictures that would help me in my studies. But gradually, as I got used to the camera, I started pursuing it as a hobby. Taking pictures day in and day out.

However, later when I started working in advertising, I found no time for photography. Then one fine day, I decided I had had enough. I quit my job and took off to Varanasi. I wanted to explore the ancient city and immerse myself in the spiritual culture. But most of all I wanted to pick up my camera and shoot again.

And that’s the reason I want this scholarship with Jason Edward. So that I can travel the world, meet new people and document the vast number of cultures in this world. All through my viewfinder.
