During the Patron saint’s festival, S. Giuliano, they celebrate an arboreal rite that link up religion and paganism. Oxen wear on their heads holy pictures, they trail a big tree from the top of the mountain to the centre village. I shooted these pics on June 2014 (Nikon d3100).
