My weekend adventures https://journals.worldnomads.com/ram_adventure/ Sun, 12 Apr 2026 15:01:37 GMT World Nomads Adventures I am not a photography expert nor do I capture outstanding photos, but I possess a keen interest in nature, wildlife and the science that keeps it going. I have always tried to capture nature at its best and weirdest; but have never been able to publish my work due to lack of technical know-how and lack of opportunities. I travel a lot, mostly drive by myself, on a less-travelled roads, looking for new experiences. Best part of my travel, is to find that one-perfect-spot to sit and enjoy nature at its best - either by the edge of the road over looking a valley below or on a secluded beach, just before the sunset - absorbing the view. Having taken a break from job after 10 years in IT, to re-evaluate my career options, I feel that if selected for the scholarship, it would be the best opportunity for me to improve my skills and pickup a new career. I am sure it will better my chances to take up travel photography as a full time profession or become a full time traveller- blogging and sharing experience with the society.
