Photos: Glacier Hunting

In August my Father turned 60. To celebrate his time on earth he wanted to see something that he may never have the chance to see again. So we flew to Seattle to track down a Glacier in the Cascade Mountain Range. We settled on Mt. Rainier on account of there being accessible trails. What we found when was one of the most beautiful places one could imagine. The sub alpine area in late summer high atop Mt. Rainier could pass for heaven. Soaring vistas ,wild flowers for days, and 80 degrees at the top of a snow capped mountain in the summer time mark just some of the wonderful things this place has to offer.
