Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I'm Santosh Korthiwada from Hyderabad, India. Photography is been my hobby & passion for some years and I'm working towards making it a profession. I love taking pictures of people and travel and someday would like to make a significant contribution to the society though photography.

I should be chosen because I'm a sincere photographer and under the mentorship of Jason Edwords, will try to excel in my skill, technique and hopefully one day will work for the National Geographic. While this opportunity may take me a step ahead in realizing my own dreams, I can promise to give my best to capture the 30 assignment photos.
Varanasi is a place I have visited in early 2013 and is one of the oldest continuously inhabited city in the World. This holy city has made me learn many things in photography but more over, it made me better my human self.
