I have had no formal training in photography but i have a passion for capturing moments and telling stories. My photos are from my experience working a ski season in Jindabyne, NSW. I had a canon digital camera with a LCD display which I cracked the screen with my first snowboarding effort, so all of my photos were taken "blind." In saying that I looked at the photos on my computer and thought I'd done pretty well. I havn't altered them in anyway because I firstly don't know how, and secondly believe that a truely beautiful moment shouldn't be altered. Jindabyne was were my life changed and I started dreaming and discovering new places, people and cultures. I would love to have the opportunity to learn and develop skills and techniques to be able to show the world in its true beauty. I know these photos and i won't win the competition but I have a desire to take great photos and become a photographer.
