A 'place' I have visited

Hey! My name is Morgan. When I was 15 I was told I had a disease in my eyes causing everything to be blurry. This problem was fixed with a special kind of contact lens. I remember the first time I put in these contacts and went outside, I could see each leaf on trees, the detail in the concrete footpath and the creases in the palms of my hands. To me, this is photography. I love taking photos, but never thought I was good enough to do it as more than a hobby. I am completely self taught and would love to learn the practical and the theory behind what I do for fun. I have a small collection of film cameras and a nice Canon 60D that I don't use enough. I have been taking photos for the past 5 years but in 2012 my wife and I moved to France for a year and I just wanted to take photos everyday of everything. There is a thrill and beauty of being somewhere new and exciting. Like the first day I wore those contact lens' I try and find beauty in the everyday and try look at things in a fresh, new way. I love to learn and am always trying to be a better person then the day before.
