Photos: My Scholarship entry - Oxford Through Strange Eyes

Over the last few years I have been working on the Through Strange Eyes project. This aims change the language of photography from "what" to "where". So rather than capturing what I saw when I looked through the camera, it captures where I was when I took the photograph. Rather than capturing the action on a stage it captures the experience of the theater.

I have always wanted to go to the Machu Picchu ever since I first saw the pictures in National Geographic as a teenager. Currently I am hoping to go there for my 50th birthday. But I would love to go there early and kick start a new career.

Currently I have used these techniques to explore my home town and Oxford.

I want to use to show people as I see the world, a world seen Through Strange Eyes.
