Wishing and waiting

All of my paperwork is turned in to study abroad in Argentina for the spring semester! I find out where exactly I'll be sometime in September or October. My first choice was to go to Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires--which would be awesom! The photos that I've seen of Argentina are...there are no words! I get speechless everytime I view them! It looks very European and the food looks amazing (lots of steak and lots of pizza + wine!).

I can't wait to find out where I'll be. My first two choices are in Buenos Aires, Argentina. My next two choices are in Chile--one in Valparaiso and the other in Antofagasta. My last choice is in Malaga, Spain. So I'll be waiting!

The application process took forever and a day. I had to fill out all the forms, write 4 essays plus one had to be in Spanish, fill out what types of courses I'd like to take at EACH university and then write a short paragraph about why I want to study at this school FOR EACH school I was interested in. Then I had to make a copy of my passport, get two professors to write a letter of recommendation and a language proficiency report, then retrieve a copy of my transcript in a sealed envelope. Once I had all of this information, I went to Kinkos and made three copies of everything (a copy for ISEP, a copy for the study abroad office at LSU, and a copy for myself). I had to leave a recent photo of myself with the ISEP copy as well as a check for the application fee. WHEW! What a load. After all of this was turned in, it was like a million weights were lifted off my shoulders.

So now the waiting begins for a couple months.
