My Scholarship entry - My Kind of Adventure

The last one and half years have been very complex for any egyptian. A real revolution with unachieved goals, that we still have to fight for. We simply needed a week off, and seeing something completely new.

Our goal was having a couple of days at a diving resort at the red sea, but we quickly decided to reach the south of egypt. The Sudan borders.

A friend introduced us to the World Nomad project, just a couple of days before our journey. We also had just bought a new camera so the situation was perfect.

Both of us are graduates from the national filmschool. We did a couple of documentaries , and some shorts.

This scholarship could mean a lot to us as it will give us a good perspective on a very special kind of filmmaking. A kind of adventure, reality shows that are unavailable in egypt. A kind that was recently introduced to us through Abu Dhabi National Geographic tv.
