I work for a TV station making regional TV commercials. My passion for Photography has given me a whole new approach to life, how I view things and what I value as important. I have recently sold all my belongings and purchased an old bus/motorhome which I will be living out of and adventuring around the place in, and yes I will be keeping my job! I have always wanted to try the motorhome thing, so why not right? I spend most of my time traveling between Port Macquarie and Grafton and this stretch of coast truly feels like home to me. The thought of winning this competition & the chance to go on such an adventure like this Greenland Scholarship makes my entire soul glow and my brain Buzz, Imagine the photo opportunities! I have yet to venture over sea's but have my passport ready to go. I made the short list last year for the Oman Scholarship , and that totally blew me away that I got that far. The certificate is hanging proud in my bus. Its hard to fit yourself into 1200 words...but then again its hard to fit your life in a bus too and I have managed that! Thank you for the opportunity. I love the ocean, Nature, Star gazing and of course I love a good adventure ! I Discovered Photography a couple years back, after buying my first DSLR for its video capabilities..Not thinking I would be taking many photo's. WELL let me tell you, It has changed my life in so many ways.. Its purely a hobby for me, but at the same time it is very much an obsession, I'm pushing my self to learn as much as I possibly can. I Cant get enough! I like to mainly shoot , Landscapes, Astro Landscapes, Surfing, Nature, and Underwater. As I mentioned earlier Photography has changed my life... It has motivated me in such ways I can not describe... It always makes me happy and it always has me thinking. I have not yet traveled over sea's yet, and would love nothing more to photograph / experience a new place my feet have never touched. I'm an easy going guy (so they tell me) , and I think that Jason and I would get on great!
